Abstract
In this research, considering the importance of the trust component in society and many areas, including the increase of social capital, the effect of information transparency on the increase of this component has been investigated according to the research conducted in recent years in different countries. The findings indicate the fact that simply increasing transparency in information does not increase trust, and various variables such as society's culture, perception of information, the way information is presented, etc. can be influential in this regard.
